Preferred Business Group Meeting Minutes
January 18, 2012
River Bend Golf Club
Meeting was called to order by Chris Massebeau approximately 7:05. He informed group 23 leads were given at the prior meeting and there were 21 members in attendance. Everybody was made aware of the tragedy our member Bill Partington and his wife Donna are facing with their home being destroyed in an explosion. Luckily nobody was harmed.
Member and guest intros were done for those in attendance. Sandy Hartung from the Flower Market attended and verbally committed to joining and Karyn Phillips from Best Bagels & Deli also attended as a guest with Chris from Go Digital.
The Flagler Home Show was discussed and the sign up sheet was sent around for volunteers to man the booths. The show is Jan 28-29 at Flagler Palm Coast High School in Palm Coast from 9am-4pm. Set up will be Friday starting at 3pm. We are at booths 154 & 155 in the small gym. Parking is not designated for vendors, so it is first come first.

The upcoming home show March 2-4 at the Ocean Center was discussed and at this time the group has decided to limit our events to one a quarter. If members would like to secure booths we have been saved 12 spots @ $700/each (with all 12 being paid for). They will offer PBG a free booth if we have 12 paying members, so we will explore participating should that become an option.
Discussions continued around advertising the group and web site design.
Next meeting will be Wednesday February 1 at Riverbend Golf Club at 7pm.
